Brent hits five-month high on Middle East disruptions as Dow drops 476 points

🚨 Oil just hit a 5-month high, and the Dow felt it.

Brent touched $117.38 Friday, its highest since late April, and ended the session near $116 (+2.7%). WTI sits above $102. The trigger: Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, an Aramco HQ evacuation, and a tanker spill off the UAE. The Dow dropped 476 points while the Nasdaq edged up.

🟢 Bull case: Energy names get a cash-flow windfall, and tech held up despite the oil shock.

🔴 Bear case: $116 oil feeds inflation fears. Consumers already expect 4.7% inflation next year, and the 10-year is knocking on 5%.
